BIO

Glen Carroll and his band have catapulted from a sold out 500-seat debut concert to performing concerts in front of crowds numbering 53,000 plus.

Having opened for many "legends" of rock and roll, Glen Carroll comes as close to the glory of the Glimmer Twins as anyone can.

Glen has been honored and featured in countless newspapers and television shows. Entertainment Weekly writes: "(Glen) makes the ultimate tribute; Mick in the 21st Century." "In singer Glen Carroll, the group offers dead-on-Mick look-and sound-alikes." "For those Rolling Stones fans shut out of the Rolling Stones tours by ticket prices and traveling distances, Glen is the next best thing to being there". The New York Village Voice says, " The show you've been waiting for. "The East Coast Rocker reports "I think they're great. An excellent show, complete with good sound and solid grooves to every composition. "Twist and Shout's music critic writes "Glen Carroll is the Jumping Jack Flash icon of Rock-n-Roll."

Boasting a talent pool of multi-platinum musicians, the musicianship is never less than top-shelf. Members of Glen's band have been featured in Entertainment Weekly, Details Magazine, The New York Village Voice, Twist and Shout, The East Coast Rocker, Gig, Steppin Out, Guitar Player, Modern Drummer as well as nationally televised performances on CBS, ABC, FOX, VH1 and MTV. The talents of these fine musicians have been combined to produce the ultimate International Rock and Roll band. From the inception, the number one criteria for Glen was and still is "A band that IS rock and roll," not just a band playing rock and roll. This is not an ordinary concert; the combination of music and effects such as balloons, flowers and fireworks make it a festive event. The show is a well rehearsed combination of sound, lighting and music…Rock and Roll music. The marriage of traditional guitars and thunderous drums is carried out ceremoniously. Add the classic vocals, horns, heys, searing harp and the combination is complete.

"GIMMIE A LITTLE DRINK" Happy New Year 2000! Glen was honored for his long standing working relationship with the world famous Hard Rock Cafe chain in the year 2000. The main office in London decided to name a new drink after Glen's band. This was the first time in history The Hard Rock Cafe has ever named a drink after a musical group. The unveiling of the new drink coincided with the arrival of Sticky Fingers in Bali, during their Far east tour of Indonesia and China. In addition to Bali, the band performed in Jakarta, Hong Kong and Beijing. The official ingredients to make a Sticky Fingers drink are as follows: Bacardi, Vodka, Tequila. Dry Gin, Triple Sec, Lime Juice, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Grenadine, and topped with Sprite. Just when I thought a Long Island Iced Tea packed a punch!

After returning home, Glen toured the rest of the year at their frequent watering holes including Hard Rock Cafes, House of Blues, Mustang Sally's, Baby Boomers, The Toy Tiger, Six Flags, The Spectrum, Casino Magic in Biloxi and Bay Saint Louis, MTV Beach Party at Panama City, Florida and MTV Beach Party in Corpus Christie, TX , Club Sticky Fingers in Little Rock, and more than we can remember.

With the new Millennium safely behind him, 2001 found Glen in the spotlight once again in between touring. Frontman Glen Carroll was interviewed and graced a full page photo spread in Details magazine (Special Music Edition, Nov. 2001). Journalist Steve Kurutz conducted the interview. Steve's reason for the interview was simple. "Glen and the band are great!" While attending Columbia University in New York City, Steve would attend performances in the world famous music hub of Greenwich Village.

Hollywood Producer Christopher Crowe selected Glen to perform for his birthday in 2002 high up in the hills of sunny California. The A-list gala event was complete with wall to wall celebrities singing and dancing the night away to classic rock and roll and industrial strength blues.

The annual Musikfest held each summer in Bethlehem Pa, is an ideal location to see your favorite bands or just to get away. The festival organizers recently added Glen to their roster of artists. Most of the people here tonight are here because they love Glen and rock and roll. Last summer I drove all the way from New York to Tennessee in my beat up VW to see Glen at the Boneroo festival. He was so great!

"FHM Magazine threw one helluva Halloween party in New York City. Rumored to be haunted, the rusty if not rustic location was a former cargo ship that's been transformed into an entertainment complex. The ship is permanently docked on the upper west side of Manhattan at 57th St. Glen began the night of entertainment with "Sympathy For The Devil" followed by "Gimme Shelter, Midnight Rambler, Paint It Black, Dancing With Mr. D, Under Cover Of The Night, Can't You Hear Me Knockin', Monkey Man, Let It Bleed, Dead Flowers" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash." At the end of a carefully chosen first set of cover tunes, singer Glen told the audience, "something for the agnostics in the crowd.

"Spring- 2004" The PGA tournament held in Augusta, GA had Glen rockin' in the Grand Ballroom April 9th with the "who's who" of professional athletes, celebrities, and fans of Glens. Although the "19th Hole" is a favorite among most golfers, Glen confesses to having had a moving moment on "the 20th Hole." I didn't ask!

"IF YOU CAN'T ROCK ME" In early 2004 Glen teamed up with Mambo Sons guitarist Tom Guerra (Derringer, Max Weinberg) and a cast of NYC's finest to develop his first album of original music.
